Katie is a Michigan-based attorney and real estate investor who brings a rare combination of legal expertise and hands-on business experience to every conversation.

After earning her law degree from the University of Michigan, she spent years in public service, including as an Assistant Director of Investigations at the U.S. Department of Education, where she led the Department's largest enforcement action to date and became a trusted voice on regulatory strategy and risk. She later returned home to join her father's real estate law firm before launching her own practice, where she now helps entrepreneurs and real estate investors navigate legal complexity while building wealth and growing their businesses.

Beyond the law, Katie is an active real estate investor, co-host, and property manager with a growing portfolio of short- and long-term rentals across Southwest Michigan — giving her a practical, in-the-trenches understanding of the risks and realities her clients face every day
