Stop Paying Too Much for Your Rehabs

A Hands-On Investor Meeting About Materials, Selections & Protecting Your Renovation Budget

Tuesday, November 3 | 6:00–8:00 PM
NCREIA Wilmington Main Meeting

Every dollar you save on a renovation goes straight to your bottom line.

But saving money on a rehab isn't always about finding the cheapest flooring or cabinets. It's knowing where to spend, where to save, what products make sense for a rental versus a flip, and what options you have besides walking into a retail home improvement store.

For our November Wilmington meeting, we're getting out of the meeting room and taking NCREIA inside the new ProSource Wholesale showroom for a hands-on look at the products and decisions that affect your renovation budget.

We'll explore the showroom from an investor's perspective.

What should you be looking for when choosing LVP for a rental?

Where can you save money on cabinets without making a flip look cheap?

Which upgrades actually help a property stand out — and which ones are probably eating into your profit?

What options are available for countertops, cabinets, tile, vanities, flooring and bath finishes at different price points?

And perhaps most importantly: Are you paying more for materials simply because you don't know where else to buy them?

We'll look at:

  • Flooring options for rentals, flips and higher-end renovations

  • Cabinets and countertops at different price points

  • Kitchen and bath products that can change the look of a property without blowing the budget

  • Where investors can potentially save — and where spending a little more may make sense

  • Ways to simplify selections and sourcing when you're managing multiple projects

  • Resources available locally that you may not know exist

You'll be able to see and touch the products, compare options, ask questions and get ideas for your own projects rather than looking at samples on a PowerPoint screen.

A Member Benefit While We're There

ProSource normally works through a membership model, and NCREIA attendees will receive a complimentary ProSource membership.

That means even if you don't need materials today, you'll leave with another local source you can price against the next time you need cabinets, flooring, tile, countertops or bath products.

And because we're meeting during the Wilmington showroom's Grand Opening Celebration, attendees will also have an opportunity to see supplier-direct specials and incentives available during the event.

And Don't Forget the Deal Table

Have a property you're trying to buy, sell, fund or figure out?

Bring it.

The NCREIA Deal Table is your opportunity to put your deal in front of the room and tap into the experience, connections and resources of other local investors.

Don't just come to network this month. Come with a project in mind.

Bring your rehab budget. Bring your material questions. Bring pictures of that kitchen you don't know what to do with. Bring your deal.

You may leave with an idea — or a connection — that saves you thousands on your next project.
