BIO
Mike Otranto is the owner of Wake County Home Buyers and Houseflow Depot. He has done over 300 deals including flip, wholesale, and brokerage. Mike quit his job in New York City and moved to North Carolina in 2005. He started doing general brokerage and buy-and-hold investing in 2006. His first business did not survive the “great recession” of 2009. Mike had to return to the workforce while he rebuilt his real estate business on the side. In 2015 Mike got a job in inside sales at a digital marketing company. He utilized the skills he learned in digital marketing to build an inbound lead system that allows him to buy 20 houses a year directly from home sellers. Mike does fix & flip, has a rental portfolio, and does wholesaling. He has been featured on the Carrot Cast podcast, and Jen Josey’s Reign Podcast. He has contributed articles to CREUniversity, and Inman News.
Mike is passionate about animals, travel, and history. He is a donor to charitable causes such as Triangle Beagle Rescue, The Herculaneum Society, and Ancient Rome Live Archeological Society.
