Topic: Affordable Housing
Speaker: Erika Brandt
At this meeting, you will learn:
- Raleigh’s housing affordability crisis is driven by demand outpacing supply.
- Rising costs and low vacancies directly fuel homelessness.
- Lack of affordable housing, not substance use or mental illness, is the structural cause.
- Proven solutions exist, but require resources and political/community will
