Mark Garrett with Better Construction:

Mark considers himself a Durhamite.  He’s seen Durham transition from being considered undesirable and dangerous to being the 4th-most populous city in NC. In 2001 Mark attended the Youthbuild Program hosted by UDI Community Development Corporation which allowed him to earn a high school equivalency / diploma while receiving hands-on job skills training in the construction industry.  These skills lead to opening a construction company, obtaining a North Carolina General Contractors License, and investing in Durham real estate,

Devin Solow:

Devin was raised in Chapel Hill and continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double majored in Business Administration and Mathematics.  Devin began investing in real estate in 2018 with the purchase of the building that ultimately became the home for the Better companies’ Durham office.
